There are many important items that Feng Shui masters use to adjust or remedy the chi of a home or business property. They are interchangeable.

• A fish tank with goldfish can stimulate chi. It is also used to boost the chi of wealth because gold and water signify money. Also, in Chinese, the word "fish" phonetically means "surplus".
• Bamboo flutes, usually tied with a red ribbon, can be hung from overhead beams or a sloping ceiling in accordance with the form of the Pagua to suppress negative chi.
• A crystal hung on a red string is used to stimulate positive chi and deflect negative chi, or to slow down chi when it travels too fast in a long corridor.
